 Fred King Open Triples Day
The club holds an annual tournament named in honour of its founder, Fred King.  The tournament was first held in 2003 and takes place early in June.  Sixteen teams of Triples take part, invited from other clubs in the county.  The winners receive the Fred King Cup and commemorative gifts, and the runners-up also receive gifts. The popularity of the event is such that most teams return to take part each year, and the Club has attracted considerable praise for the excellence of the event's organisation, the quality of its catering and its hospitality towards the guests on the day.
